Bill leads architectural walking tour of Fitzrovia for the London Festival of Architecture
01/07/24
We are thrilled that Bill Webb was honoured to lead a walking tour of Fitzrovia for this year’s London Festival of Architecture. The Thursday evening tour was a fantastic opportunity to explore the architectural gems of this vibrant neighbourhood and reflect on its ongoing evolution.
The tour, curated by Bill, took attendees through Fitzrovia’s rich architectural tapestry. Highlights included Bill’s favourites: the iconic BT Tower, the "Rabbit Warren Street" installation, the contemporary brilliance of 80 Charlotte Street, and the reimagining of the Heal’s Building. Each stop offered a chance to delve into the stories behind these landmarks and the innovative design teams shaping the area’s future.
“Fitzrovia is a neighbourhood that’s constantly reinventing itself while retaining its unique character,” said Bill Webb. “It was a privilege to share my passion for this area and showcase the incredible work of architects and designers driving its transformation.”
We want to thank everyone who joined the tour and the London Festival of Architecture for hosting such an inspiring event.
