Completion of 'Rabbit Warren Street' in Fitzrovia
01/06/24
We are delighted to announce Rabbit Warren Street's successful completion and launch, the public artwork installation we created as part of the London Festival of Architecture’s #Reimagine Fitzrovia competition. This large-scale, temporary artwork is now open for visitors next to Warren Street Tube Station, and it has been a significant success, attracting widespread interest and positive feedback.
Our concept, Rabbit Warren Street, reimagines the Fitzrovia neighbourhood as a hidden “warren” ripe for discovery. The installation brings energy and creativity to this vibrant part of the city, encouraging people to explore and engage with the space in a new and playful way.
We are proud of the collaboration that made this project possible. We worked alongside The Fitzrovia Partnership, Elliott Wood, Placemaking London, Global Street Art, 4WOOD TV and Film Ltd, and many other fantastic contributors. Their support and expertise helped us bring this innovative idea to life.
Rabbit Warren Street has not only been a creative success but has also sparked meaningful conversations about the future of Fitzrovia. The community desires urban enhancements that go beyond art installations and activations. This project represents the beginning of meaningful change for the area, and we’re thrilled to see it resonate so strongly with visitors and locals alike.
The installation is open for all to visit and enjoy. As recommended by TimeOut Group, we encourage everyone to come and experience Rabbit Warren Street and discover the hidden warren of Fitzrovia for themselves!
